Day 1: Dar es Salaam → Selous (Nyerere National Park)
Your safari starts with a morning pickup from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam. Drive or fly to Selous depending on your preference.
Arrive in Nyerere National Park and settle into your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and beautiful river birds along the scenic waterways.
Dinner and overnight in Selous.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Selous
After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive across the wilderness of Selous. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and rare African wild dogs.
Your guide will take you through woodlands, grassy plains, and riverside areas, offering excellent photography opportunities.
Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 3: Walking Safari & Afternoon Game Drive
Start your day with a guided walking safari, a unique opportunity to experience the bush on foot. Learn about animal tracks, plant life, insects, and the ecosystem from your professional ranger.
Return for lunch and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive to spot more wildlife before sunset.
